The most highly anticipated event on your calendar each year is scheduled for this June 21 – 23, 2022! The Department of Defense (DoD) Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP) in collaboration with the Small Business Administration (SBA) is sponsoring Virtual Small Business Training Week 2022 (SBTW22).

The Department of Defense (DoD), Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP) understands the need to EXPAND the small business base, INNOVATE to bring new tech into our supplier base, and DIVERSIFY to advance equity in the small business community. Increasing Competition in the Defense Industrial Base will be critical to our success as we renew efforts to ensure we can meet challenges now and in the future.

Virtual SBTW22 will feature a notable roster of speakers that will engage, inform, and inspire attendees through interactive plenary and breakout sessions.

You will gain transformational insights into the current state of competition, discuss systemic challenges to expanding competition, leverage small business programs to grow the industrial base, and learn the positive actions that DoD is taking to broaden its competitive base. DoD’s efforts are designed to increase competition and build domestic capacity, especially from small businesses, and to close gaps in the domestic national security and technology industrial base.

Additionally, you will take away best practices, valuable resources, market research and engaging discussion from our virtual panels and subject matter experts to build the Defense Industrial Base utilizing critical Small Disadvantaged Businesses, HUBZone and Woman-Owned Small Businesses, and more!

You will earn Continuous Learning Points toward the training requirement established by the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act.
